وَالضُّحَىٰ الضحى [1]
By the morning brightness Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [1]
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ الضحى [2]
And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [2]
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ الضحى [3]
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [3]
وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ الضحى [4]
And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [4]
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ الضحى [5]
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [5]
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ الضحى [6]
Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [6]
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَىٰ الضحى [7]
And He found you lost and guided [you], Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [7]
وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ الضحى [8]
And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [8]
فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ الضحى [9]
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [9]
وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ الضحى [10]
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [10]
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ الضحى [11]
But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. Ad-Dhuha ( The Forenoon ) [11]
